Our home features a new modern kitchen and a lovely lit garden. Up to 2 well-behaved pets are welcome, but we ask for £35 per pet/per week. We offer a FREE dedicated parking space just 5 minutes drive away.

Transit

Cambridge city center is just a 15-minute walk away from the house. Cambridge International Airport is a 22-minute bus ride away or a 10-minute taxi ride. Cambridge Station is also just 10 minute’s walk away, with great connections by train into London and Stanstead Airport. The central bus station is also a 15 minutes walk from the house.

Notes

For stays over 10 days, you are expected to have interim cleans/linen change (frequency to be agreed depending on length of stay) for an extra fee. This will have to be agreed in writing via messages before your check-in date. Should you decline this offer, at your check out date, if our clean team will have to spend longer than their contracted hours to bring the property back to its original condition, you will be liable for the additional charges.

Neighborhood

Abounding with exquisite architecture, exuding history and tradition, and renowned for its quirky rituals, Cambridge is a university town extraordinaire. The tightly packed core of ancient colleges, the picturesque riverside ‘Backs’ (college gardens), and the leafy green meadows surrounding the city give it a more tranquil appeal than it is historic rival Oxford. Like ‘the Other Place’, as Oxford is known locally, the buildings here seem unchanged for centuries, and it’s possible to wander around the college buildings and experience them as countless prime ministers, poets, writers, and scientists have done. Sheer academic achievement seems to permeate the very walls: cyclists loaded down with books negotiate cobbled passageways, students relax on manicured lawns, and great minds debate life-changing research in historic pubs. First-time punters zigzag erratically across the river and those long past their student days wonder what it would have been like to study in such splendid surroundings.

Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay

House Rules

Once a reservation is confirmed, the lead guest is required to fill in a short online check-in form and upload photos of an ID for ALL adults staying at the property before checking in. On the form you will need to provide: number of guests staying at the property, method of transport (if parking is required where applicable), reason for your trip (business or leisure), lead guest info (name, email, contact telephone number and address) and finally upload copies of IDs for all adults guests staying at the property. This is part of our Risk Assessment Policy and it is done for Health and Safety reasons (i.e. if a fire breaks out, we need to provide details of everyone staying at the property to the relevant authorities). We operate a self check in system and cannot meet our guests to check their IDs in person. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being cancelled and the cancellation policy will still apply.
